We recently sat down for Breakfast in Cabo with Clicerio Mercado, the man behind the famous Bisbee’s fishing tournaments. He had recently finished up another Bisbee’s Black & Blue tournament hosted in Cabo.
The hurricane brought out the best and the worst of Cabo, says Clicerio. The worst was a very small group. The best was the vast majority of the people of Cabo. Most hotels have been rebuilt, repaired or remodeled and are open for business, filled to capacity. Some are still undergoing major renovations.
But Cabo is much more than the hotels and resorts. Even the small hidden favorite taco shops took the opportunity to rebuild, better than before. The town is flush with people, great mexican and sea food, and the traditional cabo “vibe”.
