Once again, NHYC will be providing Cabo Race competitors the possibility of having delivery gear sent down to Cabo as well as limited space for gear to return back to CA.

January 2021
We will be taking your delivery gear to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. We will be collecting gear at the following locations and times:
MARINE DEL REY – Friday March 12, 9-11AM –Windward Yac
SAN PEDRO – Friday March 12, Noon-2PM – parking lot across from USS Lane Victory
LONG BEACH – Friday March 12, 3-5PM parking lot south of Long Beach Shipyard
NHYC – Saturday March 13, 8AM-11AM – NHYC
SAN DIEGO – Sunday March 14, 9AM-11AM – Parking lot by Shelter Island launch ramp
The following paperwork needs to be given to us with your gear:
- Copy of boat owner’s and/or delivery captain’s passport
- Copy of current boat registration or documentation
- Copy of the TIP (Mexico temporary permit)
- Letter of authorization, original signature
- Inventory of items to be shipped (boxes must-have detail of contents)
The cost is $1.90 per pound and a $100.00 import processing fee. Payment is due when we collect gear, cash or check made payable to LAURA NEALE.
Cabo gear exchange location will be at Cabo Yacht Center on March 24, 10 AM-2 PM. We will have a panga available to deliver the gear to the boats.
We can take your sails back to San Diego. The fee for returning sails is $25.00 – $50.00, per sail, depending on size. ONE SAIL PER BAG.
