Entering and exiting Mexico can be tricky in normal times and the COVID Pandemic has made things more complicated and has increased processing costs. PLEASE review the following information to make the arrival process as smooth as possible for you and your crew and make advance payments and send the appropriate paperwork as soon as possible.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS (all documents must be scanned in PDF only)
- Crew Passport (PDF – full scan of photo and signature page).
- Vessel’s proof of Insurance.
- 10-year Mexican import permit (add any dinghies, tenders, etc.)
- Captains authorization or permission letter from owner to operate vessel.
- Captains License picture and endorsement page (if available).
- Vessel documentation.
- Captain shall sign a hand written or typed letter that “On Yacht _____, with ____# crew, there are no crew present that have any Covid-19 related symptoms.”

ARRIVAL INSTRUCTIONS
Between 9 and 5 pm, only the Captain may proceed to Baja Cantina Cabo Race Headquarters where Barreda will have a table set up. We will hand the Captain his entry paperwork and all crew visas (ensure each crew puts Visas with passport) at the Baja Cantina. At that time, please inform us of the Departure Date and Time so we may coordinate the delivery of your Clearance Documents as well.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS (all documents must be scanned in PDF only):
- Delivery Captains authorization or permission letter.
- Delivery Captains license picture and endorsement page.
- Departure Crew: FORM to Clear Out of Mexico (barredaagency.com)

PAYMENT For vessel entry and clearance there is a fee of usd$490.00, which includes agency fees for expedited paperwork processing, API Port Tax, Health Department Covid Clearance and Port Captain fees for both entry and clearance. There is also an immigration fee for each individual tourist card, which is usd$37.00 per person. For example:
if a vessel has 7 aboard upon entry to Cabo, their fees will be: $490 + $259 = $749.
Note: there is no tourist card payment collected for the delivery crew, it is just for the crew arriving in the race at Cabo San Lucas.
