The battle for line honors continues as Brown Eyed Girl, Chubasco, Good Call, & Marisol drag race down the cape. It is still a little too close to call, but one boat made a Good Call by hunting for some breeze offshore and it seems to have paid off (bet you can’t guess who that is).
Further north, Peligroso & Pyewacket have separated from the rest of their divisions, leading the charge for the Saturday starts. The race hasn’t gone without its challenges though; Destroyer ran into a kelp minefield, OEX experienced electrical problems that forced them to retire, and BadPak also retired.
It is definitely shaping up to be a close one! We are excited to start welcoming the competitors here shortly.
