Tuesday Morning Update

The battle for line honors continues as Brown Eyed Girl, Chubasco, Good Call, & Marisol drag race down the cape. It is still a little too close to call, but one boat made a Good Call by hunting for some breeze offshore and it seems to have paid off (bet you can't guess who that is).   Further north, Peligroso &  Pyewacket have separated from the rest of their divisions, leading the charge for the Saturday starts. R/C On Station in Cabo!

This edition of the Cabo Race has certainly been a roller coaster of conditions! Light breeze early on caused two boats to retire. However, it is definitely picking up; as we've seen boats log speeds up in the mid-teens, then screech to a near-halt a few hours later. Spirits are high within the fleet, two boats even reported seeing green flashes at sunset on March 17th.
